Taking The Shortcut To Success
Like many working mothers, Julie Ndjee invented a shortcut in her kitchen to save herself a little effort. She never thought it would be the first step toward starting her own business.
“I love cooking.” the former information technology professional said “but I couldn.t find anything with seasonings that could cut the process down to 10 or 15 minutes.” So, she turned to a family recipe from her native Cameroon, a mix of pre-cooked vegetables and seasonings that she began storing for use as a quick side dish or marinade. When Ndjee`s friends and colleagues got a taste, they clamored for more and urged her to market the tasty condiment.
